RESET: 2022 Economic Forecast for Metro Denver
The COVID-19 pandemic caused many changes in our economic system over the past two years. Now is the time to reset our business and household operations so that we can move forward with refreshed outlooks. Supplier challenges and worker shortages have led to rapidly rising costs, making renegotiations essential. Companies are reinventing how they use their physical space. Consumer spending, which was resilient throughout the pandemic as many household items were replaced, will likely shift back to historic growth levels. Housing affordability issues continue as our communities ponder how best to build and rebuild.
This presentation will discuss current and projected growth trends at the national, state, regional, and local levels. The presentation features employment and industry trends, population growth and consumer activity, and the residential and commercial real estate markets.

Monthly Economic Indicators
The Monthly Economic Indicators is a comprehensive analysis of economic conditions in the seven-county Metro Denver area, including Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson Counties. The report contains four sections: labor force and employment, the consumer sector, residential real estate, and commercial real estate. The report presents recent data and long-term trends for the seven-county region.

Toward a More Competitive Colorado – 20th Edition
Toward a More Competitive Colorado (TMCC) is an annual benchmark study measuring Colorado’s competitive position among the other 49 states. The TMCC report utilizes over 100 different measures of economic competitiveness from numerous national rankings and studies, identifying the state’s strengths and challenges in several key areas including economic vitality, innovation, taxes, livability, K-12 education, higher education, health, and infrastructure. The report includes several international measures analyzing Colorado’s place as a global competitor. The Millennial Influence in Metro Denver
The Millennial population includes individuals born between 1981 and 1997. Millennials are the largest population group in Metro Denver and are vital to Metro Denver’s labor force and economic future.
